Orion left Singapore on 31/12/1941. The passengers included
civilian evacuees (187 women and 283 children), and Army, Navy and RAF
personnel, many of whom were medical invalids being repatriated to
Australia. The ship called at Fremantle and Melbourne, before arriving
in Sydney on 14/1/1942.
