Reunions
A few Battalion members escaped from Singapore, and either made their
way to Java, or ended up in Ceylon. They eventually made their way back
to Australia on various ships.

Some of them later served
with other Australian units in New Guinea, returned to
Singapore in 1945 with the
POW Reception Groups, or served
with the BCOF in Japan after the war.
