Death of L/Sgt. Kenneth Lindsay

While the Battalion was at Batu Pahat, L/Sgt. Kenneth Lindsay, became the first casualty in Malaya. He was badly injured while playing football, and died on 10/11/1941.

He was given a full military funeral and buried in the A.I.F. cemetery at Malacca. His grave was later transferred to the Kranji Cemetery in Singapore.
