Lithgow Ex-POW Memorial

The memorial is located on Chifley Road, Lithgow, which is the main road between Lithgow and Bell, NSW. It commemorates the A.I.F. doctors and nurses who were prisoners of the Japanese from 1942-1945, and was erected by Lithgow Ex P.O.W. Club.
A small plaque above the main memorial stone, is dedicated to NX20467 - L/Cpl Phillip James BAILEY, 2/30th Battalion, who died in 1989, aged 76 years.
