Changi shirts - 3

Three shirts, signed by members of the Battalion and donated to Changi Museum in Singapore. The shirts were delivered to the Museum in 2002 by NX32421 - GEOGHEGAN, Mervyn Ross (Joe), Pte. - BHQ Company, Cook

The shirts were signed at Wallgrove Camp in 1940, as some of the men whose names appear on the shirts were discharged from the Battalion in mid 1941.

NX20550 - McLEOD, Thomas Kennedy, A/Cpl. - B Company, 10 Platoon, Ex "A" Force; sent from Thailand to Japan after Railway completed; Rakuyo Maru torpedoed and sunk 12/9/1944 by US submarine, died 12/9/1944
