Batu Pahat Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Small Image (87kb) Officers, NCO's & men of the 2/30 Battalion, and local citizens pose outside the Chinese Chamber of Commerce building in Batu Pahat, Malaya, 1941. The Japanese later executed many of the Chinese businessman in the photo. This was because they were beleived to have aided the Chinese war effort against the Japanese invaders in China.
