Information: Killed in action (KiA) at Senai while patrolling in Armoured Car (Angel). Went forward to 23 mile peg, turned around and was then attacked and chased by 4 enemy planes. CHRISTOFF killed as the car neared 18 mile peg. Remains buried in P.W.D. lawn, 80 yards beyond 17 mile peg on left hand side of road. Identity discs handed in. Awarded DCM for this action. See Galleghans Greyhounds, page 175 for details. Remains not recovered after War and search abandoned.
