Signals Huts
Birdwood Camp, Singapore, 1941.

"This snap shows the two huts belonging to the Sigs, on the Sunday morning clean up. Seated on the charpoy in the foreground is Bill Moncrieff, one of the Wagga lads. Standing at the back with hands on hips is "Hank" Massey. George Coote is fellow with the "high forehead", Laury Quintal, who traces back to Fletcher Christian of the Mutiny of the Bounty is sitting down a little in front of George.

I'm over in the other hut, of which there will be a further snap soon."
