Army History Research Grants

• Army History Research Grants Applications for the 2021-22 round of grants are now open.

• Applications close COB 5 March 2021

• The object and application, if granted, would be to produce a detailed history of the 2/30th Bn and 2/15th Field Regiment

• The research will be made available via the Association's web site and social media platforms

•  As a guide, it would encompass the Battle of Gemas, related battles, POW camps, Burma railway, Slave labour in Japan, and the Sandakan Death March

•  It is thought that , a team of the younger generation may be interested in compiling the application for the grant, and selecting a military researcher to support our case

•  The cut off date for the application is the 5th of March, so we would need to know if you would like to be part of the team, by the Monday 8th Feb 2021, which would give you 1 month to complete the application 

Mentor Program

• The mentor program was officially launched at the Gemas Day service on the 12th January 2020.

• We encourage and invite grandchildren and great grandchildren of the original members to join the Association.
